Another TRTN email i received today...



Katie forwarded your message to me:



“1) are there any toxic byproducts to the plastic to oil process?”



No. It emits carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and some water.





“2) Is any of the catalyst used up in the process?”



No – it is recovered. However, with any process with variable feedstock, we could lose up to 0.1% of the catalyst when removing any slag left from other products that have entered the processor that are not plastic: ie: steel, carbon, etc…
