Alternative Energy sources need to be competitive with $20 per barrel oil...It is a simple philosophy that most never consider...

If a windmill that costs $10,000 to put in someone's backyard today can be installed for $495 then it becomes a legitimate contender as an alternative energy source...Its kinda like looking back over the price history of very high cost and originally bulky satelite dishes versus much lower cost thru much larger mass production today...The size difference doesn't matter much in the sat dish comparison because a much larger sat dish made of aluminum had very little metal cost anyway...

And the same price principles apply to solar panels and installation for alternative energy sources...

The U.S. hasn't shown a real expansion above $30 per barrel oil before...The most recent attempt has been shown full of problem holes because it was induced by debt expansion to offset cost considerations which proved unsustainable...

There is no Calamity in Reality returning to how folks view things, IMO...LJ
