Here is a link to the shorts that failed to deliver on time. Just type in SPNG and hit big chart. You will see, the shorting increased during 2008 leading into 2009. The spike to 28 cents may have had some covering involved and the second covering could be much stronger with the fundamental news coming in stronger and stronger. 8)
