If you go to the Liquor Group website, click on profile and then scroll down to the bottom where you can click on "Liquor Related News", you'll find the Friday, March 6, 2009 press release stating "Liquor Group Receives Green Light on Bailment". ***Please note the company did NOT place this press release under their "News and Info" tab, because they wanted this to be hard to find.

The company "Liquor Group" clearly states "several industry members and distribution competition of Liquor Group had levied complaints with the Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) and State Alcohol Control Agencies". They felt Liquor Group has an unfair advantage because they do not have any carry costs for inventory placed in their "CONTROL" by alcohol beverage manufactures on a state by state basis.

Look, off the top of my head- it makes good sense why Drinks Americas did not fill "consignment" orders of $300,000 to $850,000 to Liquor Group. Why would you ship "MONEY" and/or "INVENTORY" to a consignment warehouse just to lose the "MONEY" and/or "INVENTORY" for years while a company like Liquor Group fights a major legal battle. If Liquor Group would have lost the complaint, they might have been shut down, chains placed on the door and Drinks Americas product stuck behind the chains collecting dust for years.

I take my hat off to Drinks Americas for acting prudently with MY MONEY, period. Liquor Group pulled an unprofessional - chicken shit stunt by placing the PR, rather than working through the court system.
