I am hearing

No bidding war would take place in public first of all.

I agree and also think that if there were a bidding war going on behind the scenes the PPS would be far north of 80 cents.

The more proof it works the better the deal.

Once again I agree. But why has King been in talks for 6 years and the company for 25 years?
Phase III approval for Cotara wasn't proof it works? TNT approved for lung cancer doesn't prove TNT works?

The R/S is not off the table, but if they do it, it will be for all of the right reasons

Please list these right reasons.

Look for deals to be done by region

So you're saying a big Pharma who wants to license or partner will only be given a region they can use the drug in? I can just see a BP going for something like that. Sure I'll only take Germany and Norway. Let someone else have the Uk, Sweden and Finland.
