That's true. But he supposedly acknowledges this in his literature and words. Also,that terminology is used by the PrizeX folks.

But the published test results aren't clear...some of those numbers are shown as mpg...but are still way way over 110....

No matter, given the test conditions, that car is nowhere near capable of even the lower figures. It might be able to get 40-50 MPGe, but I doubt it, especially at 70 mph for one test...and on some snow and ice as another test stated.
