STP/EEZ News: As expected, parliament approved new Oil Operations Framework Law and Oil Tax Law today - reports Portuguese Lusa agency.

After months of successive delays, says lawmakers voted in favor unanimously and without any debate.

Lusa adds nothing new about the content of the laws, describing the 'framework law" as opening possibility of direct negotiations for EEZ block awards in certain circumstances.

Says legislature has 5 days to send bills to Pres Menezes, who'll have 30 days to sign.
