At least 50 others spending multiple billions (much of it our tax dollars) have tried & failed.

Why can't someone develop a drug to just kill the damn virus.

I certainly hope someone is working on that, and that "that someone" has already made it thru clinical trials on animals with much success (functional cure) strong enough to garner mega-support from the US Govt, NIH, who is currently testing an improved super-nano drug utilizing more stringent protocols!
