April, 2008 - Delta announced they were canceling Mesa's contract so they could cut routes and save money (Delta was on the brink of bankruptcy at the time). Mesa's CEO then made the off-handed comment that "if they do, we'll go bankrupt with them." which probably wasn't the slickest thing to mutter at the time, as Mesa's stock price then plummeted to around .01 - and has been squeaking up every since.
Mesa had a solid contract and still does which the courts upheld this week. For all here who were holding-out, we knew this day would come. Now, hopefully, Mesa is back in the spotlight and the institutions will start pumping money in and they'll maintain their NASDAQ listing.
