Won't my "broadband" cable service provider charge me MORE if I have a home network/lan?
or is their charging similar to the phone company, pay a monthly fee, and if you have one wired phone great, if you have ten wired phones equally great.
wonderin'
I have an idle interest in going with a Wireless-G Cable Gateway. Linksys had a model WCG200 that would allow me to "give Comcast their cable modem back" and also save me about $4 a month. But if I go with a wireless cable gateway, and they charge me an additional FEE for having a LAN, then I might be better off just with a router, and suck up that monthly cable modem rip-off..
