I am afraid of problems with stocks in the long term because of the possible passing of "cap and trade." Im going to try keep most of my cash I have left in my accounts for gold/gold stocks or a big time bargain. Hard to say, but the one thing we have going for us we didn't have in other recessions is the constant flow of money into 401k. People will continue to do it because the companies they work for often match what they put in so they can lose 50% and still be on even ground. I doubled my money on gold and silver but looking forward on that front I will not go back in unless there is a big correction.
