Domestic Situation

Domestic milled rice price quotes were steady in south and steady in
California this week. By-products were uneven in the south and steady to
higher in California.

In the south, long grain rice price quotes were steady, quoted mostly at 24.00-24.50; medium grain prices were steady, quoted mostly at 44.50-45.00; parboiled quotes were steady, quoted mostly at 27.00-29.00; second heads were steady, quoted mostly at 18.50-19.00; brewers were steady, quoted mostly at 15.25-17.00. Rice by-products: Offers for rice bran were uneven; millfeed was uneven in a very lightly tested trade; hulls were steady in a lightly tested trade.

In California, medium grain milled rice prices were steady, quoted mostly at 51.00-55.00; short grain prices were steady; second heads were steady; brewers were 1.00 lower. Rice bran was 4.00 higher; rice hulls were steady.
