some good points frenchee. the ndx and qqq are also butting up against their 50 ma. that said, it hasnt done much in the way of support or resistance in the past 6 months, but it could cause a few day pullback this go around. pure speculation on my part, but i too had enough things line up to try a short again.

2005...the year of the shorts and small dogs.
