THE JOINT DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
The Treaty empowers the Joint Development Authority to supervise activities related to the
development of petroleum resources in the JDZ. The JDA is made up of the following four
departments:
i) Monitoring and Inspections Department
ii) Commercial and Investment Department
iii) Non - Hydrocarbon Resources Department
iv) Finance and Administration Department
The Monitoring and Inspections Department Performs the role of a state Ministry of Petroleum Resources
