Frank & The Movie Channel

It's my understanding that Frank was a big part of this. The Movie Channel from what I remember was another early innovator in television. My question is there a good sight to get the history of the channel and how it grew up. Also, was it publicly traded? What was the symbol?

What other prior projects can give us an idea of where this could actually end up?
