The latest NSS-related propaganda—popular among DNDN longs who read the stuff on DeepCapture.com—is that Cougar Biotechnology served as a vehicle for organized crime figures to make money from naked shorting of DNDN. According to this theory, the raison d’etre of Cougar was to manufacture bogus PR’s about a therapy that would potentially compete with Provenge in order to manipulate the share price of DNDN.

Oddly, the write-ups by DeepCapture.com omit the minor detail that JNJ paid a billion dollars to acquire Cougar.
