I rarely recommend ministries because so many of them are....... will if you have read my posts you know I don't approve of many of them.

If you have read the Devotionals from Bonnie Ricks then you know she is a Woman that God has BLESSED with a very special insight to his word.

Bonnie and her Husband are special people.
I'm not going to go into all the reasons you should know that from the Devotionals.

I'm asking for your support no matter if it's a $1.00 or $1,000.00

What matters is it comes from your heart.

I know times are tough.
You have no idea how much I know that.
But I also know God says he will supply our every need.
That word is NEED, not WANTS!

I'm asking you to give to this ministry because they do great things for God's Kingdom and they are in NEED!

Those of you who have read my posts over the years....... will some would call me names.......others would respect me for never being a political correct worthless person who wants to be liked by everyone. One who makes his yes yes and his no no so yep I offend people.

Will I say yes to this ministry and ask you to find it in your heart to support them!








Dear Devotional Subscribers,



First, I want to thank you all for your many notes of encouragement and your prayers the past few weeks. We’re continuing to praise God that there was no malignancy found, and continuing to pray that the egg-sized “area” that is still in question can be handled without too much of an invasive procedure. After 18 surgeries over the past 12 years, I’m weary of being “sliced and diced”… So, again, thank you!!



The rest of this note is something that I really dislike doing… especially with the economy going downhill like it is, because we know everyone is having to cut back on spending. We have prayed about whether to write this note for a couple of weeks, and finally decided to do so after noticing how many times Paul spoke to the churches where he ministered about giving to him and his fellow missionaries. Also, since a portion of our income goes to provide food, shelter and clothing for some missionaries, students, and a pastor and his family in Africa, when we’re unable to make up the difference, it directly affects them.



As you know, J.R. and I are both totally disabled, and almost our entire living comes from Social Security Disability. This limits the resources from which we can draw to make up any deficit, but God has always made a way for us to do so when there was only a couple of hundred dollars to make up. But, we were totally unprepared for the sudden huge (to us) drop in donations in May and again this month. To put it simply, we need your help.



If you’ve noticed our weekly budget updates over the past year, you’ve seen that we’ve been very blessed – receiving between $1,200 and $1,500 a month in donations every month. When the amount has fallen below our $1,500 ministry budget, we’ve been able to make up the difference… up until now.



In May, our total income for the ministry was $467.52. Our income to date for June is $281.75. As you can see, there’s no way we can make up that kind of deficit with our limited resources.



All of our donations come from 25 to 30 individuals out of 10,000 subscribers. Most of those folks faithfully give between $5 and $50 every month. If you’ll do the math, you can see that if 150 of our subscribers committed to $10 every month, our budget would be met.

If you have never given to this ministry, we ask that you prayerfully consider doing so now. No amount is too small! In fact, if every person who reads our devotionals made just a small donation, we would never have to ask for money again! Also, we’d like to remind you that we are a 501(c)(3) corporation, and your donations are tax deductible.
