Spokeshave, Re: I saw your response to my previous message. I think the answer to you question about why target 80% when you can target 100% is simple. If you can do massive damage with a buffer-overflow virus, then massive damage to 80% of the systems out there has a pretty big impact.

But that still doesn't attempt to explain why a hacker would settle for a massive impact in 80% of PCs when they could go for 100%.
