Yes, that is a good question.

I suppose we could assume that if one was naked there would be nowhere to store the money. On the other hand I'm reminded of the book Papillon in which our hero learned how to keep ones money in a, shall we say, safe place. So being naked on it's own would pose no challenge to the persistent salesman.

Now to the problem of being short. At first glance it might appear to the casual reader that you're referring to stature. I, however, understand that what you speak of is a matter of liquidity. The amount of cash in the cache, if you will. This issue must be dealt with appropriately.

Financing would seem a risky venture. After all, this person has no clothes! Assets are at a premium. Discounting is possible. However, when one considers the effort to find and sell to naked shorts in the first place discounting looks less and less attractive. The last and best option is keeping the pitch to affordable products.
