When VGPR were alledgely committed to buying the software, in fact they had their own poker site Butcher Poker, it was at the time the US introduced its shambolic attempt to stop online gaming. Since that time two sites, predominantly supported by American players, one ironically owned by mainly american players, have taken over the market with the exception of one other software provider - who VGPR had or have nothing to do with.
Yes, the US Govt is waking up to the monumental mistake it has made and will eventually do a U-turn, no doubt with the necessary taxes but such has the market and software moved on that even if VGPR had fulfilled its obligation to complete the purchase - now that would be groundbreaking this lot completing anything - the business has moved on light years and the software would be so out of date it would be of little use to any one.
maybe they should call it Molenware?
