I wouldn't suggest Republicans have the solution to the problem by any means. I'm talking more about true conservatives, i.e. people who believe in limited government and state rights. And I'm not suggesting we should become a theocracy, I'm only suggesting we should allow open and free discussion of ideas, and not try and snub those we consider to be too close to religious doctrine.

That means allowing kids to learn about abstinence in schools as a preferred means of protection over condoms. Many on the left laugh at this idea as though it's silly and not realistic, but we forget about the psychological consequences of our teens and young adults having promiscuous sex. It's a double standard when you really think about it. I mean in our schools, we teach kids to use condoms, show them how to put condoms on a banana, etc., and then we tell parents not to use corporal punishment with their children because of the psychological effects--as though the acceptance of promiscuous sex in our schools has no psychological consequences. We are willing to jeopardize safety of our children out of fear of preaching morality, because somehow morality has been mischategorized as a product of religion and a means for religious organizations to "infiltrate" our schools.
