Something very interesting I'd like to share with everyone.

I live in a college city in the midwest U.S with a population of a little over 50,000 people. I am flanked on both sides with several big cities to both the east and west. In my city we have a Walgreen's on the East end of town that has been open for several years now. Less than 9 months ago the company decided to put another Walgreens in in the West side of town near where I live, and it is just about to have it's grand opening in the next month or so.

In any case about 3 weeks ago I went to the East store to see if they were carrying the Car kit. They were not. I was curious so I went to the Walgreen's site and looked up the product. They have a feature on their site which allows you to see whether your local store is carrying a particular product. As expected it showed that the kit was not available at my store. Oddly enough there is a big city to the east of me which has I believe 8 Walgreens and they all were carrying the product at the time.

Wondering what the deal was I put in an inquiry to the Walgreen's corporate office wondering if they were going to be carrying the product in my area any time soon. Well just today I got a call back from the corporate office. It was a VERY interesting conversation that I had with the man I spoke with. To summarize, I am thinking that SPNG's market saturation into the Walgreens chain is going to continue to grow many times over.
