The SEC seems to spend more time and money chasing the dirty coat tails of these frauds than they would otherwise saved by stopping them at the door.

I agree. They need to be more proactive.

So perhaps the SEC should be sued as well?

No, because they have warnings about the danger of buying non-reporting Pinkies all over their website.
