"We need a real deal, like John Kerry, not a raw deal, like what's in the White House now..."
===============================================================

ergo...

Let me see if I have this straight--

Kerry is "the real deal" because....

1) He volunteered for Viet Nam. Of course he joined the Navy (I wonder if he was 1A when he chose the Navy??) and the Navy was by far the safest service to be in at the time unless you were a pilot or a few other jobs. When he volunteered to go to Viet Nam, Patrol Craft never went "in country."

2) His oft bragged about Christmas excursion into Cambodia (seared, seared I tell you into my memory) was a total fabrication, a lie by his own admission after being caught with proof that the claim was bogus. His other excursions in Cambodia were apparently also lies.

3) His first Purple Heart was self inflicted - another total lie, not a "fog of war" mistake, as his own journal clearly states 9 days later that he had yet to be under enemy fire. Kerry lied to get this medal.

4) Kerry made a big deal about all the boats fleeing the scene of the mine explosion that crippled boat number 3 and claimed that he was the first to come back. Another lie -- His was the only boat to flee the scene, as he has now admitted.

5) His 3rd and final Purple Heart was also a self inflicted wound, as he now admits, coming from a hand grenade Kerry himself placed in a barrel of rice. There was no enemy fire at the time.

5) "Mr. Cleland said on Friday in Columbia, S.C., with Mr. Kerry at his side. "We need somebody who felt the sting of battle, not someone who didn't even complete his tour stateside in the Guard." "

Kerry immediately put in for a transfer out of Viet Nam 7 months before his tour of duty there should have ended on the basis of his 3 Purple Hearts -- at least two of which he knew were bogus, being based on his own lies.

6) Kerry came home to join "Hanoi" Jane Fonda and other radical left wing protesters to shamefully defame his fellow servicemen in Viet Nam and meet on several occasions with leaders of North Viet Nam to denounce his country while it was at war. At the time he was still in the Naval Reserves, drawing a paycheck for that service, and that makes his actions treasonable under the UCMJ.

7)Kerry posted on his campaign website that one thing qualifying him to be president was his 8 years service on the Senate Intelligence Committee, several of which he was vice-chairman. Oooops, another lie -- he was never vice chairman, and he attended only 22% of the committee meetings.

8) Kerry takes both sides of almost every important issue (except when he straddles the fence) depending on which group he is trying to please at the moment. The voting public needs to see a debate between Kerry and Kerry.

Kerry is the "real deal" ?? I think not.
