rylawi, there are 22.7 million tons, so it would be 22,700,000,000 kilos. LMAO! But it's 22.7 million tons of sand, not gold. Each ton of sand has just 2.49 grams of gold.

So 22,700,000 x 2.47 gms / 31 gms = 1,808,677 ounces x $930 = $1,682,069,610.
