STEC Inc. (NASDAQ:STEC) shares jumped 28% after the memory chip manufacturer increased its guidance, now anticipating EPS ex-items of 32-36 cents, vs. consensus estimates of 21 cents per share. That is higher than prior guidance of 20-22 cents announced May 11th.
