Good points. Still on the sidelines, but lovin' the drama.

The thing is though, it was really the FDIC's call, which unfortunately for WMI, are the ones who will not be painted as the bad guys, atleast not for now.

JPM will come out clean, and eventually the FDIC will pay, but not anytime too soon. No negative spin against the FDIC is forthcoming, imo, and no settlement (aka admission of wrongdoing) will happen in the upcoming months. That would have a very negative affect on investor confidence (even though some here feel it would be good for investor confidence).
