I am looking for some help re the hijacking of the website http://www.capitaltransferagency.com/ of one of our member's transfer agency. It has been copied and posted as a legit company and is being used to defraud shareholders.
The fraudster: Global Transfer Service Inc. www.globaltransferservice.com , is offering to remove restrictions on US OTC-listed penny stocks at inflated rates, to investors who have been originally defradued by a boiler-room known as Witter Walwyn, based in Amsterdam and responsible for the promotion and sales of worthless/inflated stocks up until 2008. The office was raided by the Police in Holland, shut down and some administrators were arrested.
these crooks were registered via Godaddy.com on April 14, 2009, but their website states that it has been operating since 2004. The web site is hosted by Justhost.com (UK) on IP 65.60.9.26.
The text on its web site is a perfect match with text provided by Capital Transfer Agency. All documents/templates from Capital have been copied to the Global Transfer Service Inc website. Furthermore, all documents used by Global Transfer Service were originally created by Capital Trans Agency - they haven't even removed your company name from the "Files->Properties->Author section".
It appears that Global Transfer Service Inc. has stolen documents, key statements and templates from Capital's web site, to add credibility to their scam.
There is no match from the federal company register in the State of New York, when doing a search on "Global Transfer Service Inc.", even though the company states on its web site that it acts as a transfer agent and has offices in New York.
This advanced fraud attempt is currently spread over a large scale internationally. Victimized private investors have losses of hundreds of millions of US dollars. Key players behind this scam are identified to be US- citizens.
