I use charts as an initial indicator which draws me to look further at the system selected stocks. I then use other chart factors to then process it into one of 2 catagories: on watch or rejected. Those on watch are further processed into: laid back? watch or intent watch after studying/applying DD. Intent watch puts it on a possible/probable buy footing. ASFX was on laid back status for a long time until the last chart/DD factors indicating a true bottom (+ or - a %age tolerance)& a "going north very shortly" factor, became confirmed & shortly therafter became a buy. Beyond that I dont use charts at all.
