I AM LODGING A COMPLAINT WITH TDAMERITRADE! I had a representative explain to me EXACTLY what shorting is. I AM A PATRIOT ENERGY PGYC victom as well and this exactly resembles what they did 3 weeks ago! So I asked the TD rep to explain shorting to me and she did. So I asked her "what if 10 so and so's have 20 million or so stock each, own it with td ameritrade. Then they decide to use their other account, the etrade account to short 20 million or less shares, so as not to appear obvious, with their etrade account. THEN they decide as a group, to hit the sell button on their 20 million shares SIMULTANEOUSLY at, say 11:59 am. BOOM!!! Then at the same time, they or their veiled associates who have already put the short order in are now realizing their short profits and then BOOM start buying back at the lower rates with their TD Ameritrade account.
Shorting should be illegal but it is NOT, BUT stock manipulation is and this is a LEGITIMATE stock!! SO, the TD rep said she is going to recommend that they LAUNCH an investigation. I SAID I WANT ONE WITH TEETH IN IT!! Put my name on it and I want MY account to be used as an example of a $40 loss in position! I will keep this board informed. I will call them every day and the sec every day and email them every day. I WANT THIS INVESTIGATED!! IF THEY CAN MAKE ONE CONNECTION BETWEEN ONE SELLER AND ONE SHORTER, they will freeze thier accounts, law suit and compensation. If I accomplish nothing at all, I WANT THE GOD DAMN MANIPULATION OF THIS STOCK TO BE PUT ON HOLD UNTIL the company can get uplisted to the nasdaq and get better policing!!
