Cheep picks

I don't even know where to begin here cheeps...you "pick" these stocks how? when? why? (other than to make money of course) I'm missing pieces to the puzzle here mate help me understand. You're day trading yes? and you pick stocks based on ??

For example - You say SQNM is going back to $20 pps...and yet every PR for the past 3 months spells disaster (to the untrained novice eye...like mine)!

I'm not asking out of mistrust or doubt...I'm intrigued & curious. I haven't day traded so this is new as to how this works (or in some cases doesn't work)..who better to ask than a friend.
