Flotation Technologies completes expansion

BIDDEFORD, Maine (June 11, 2009)—Flotation Technologies Inc. has completed an expansion of its Biddeford facility, which makes deepwater buoyancy systems out of polyurethane elastomers and syntactic foams.

The company said the project included adding enclosed shipping and receiving area and exterior work, and the expansion and related improvements will boost efficiency, safety and functionality of the plant. The cost of the project wasn’t given.
