By the way, great that you're involved the pit bull, rescue.
I recently rescued one myself.
I'm doing a roof about 3 miles up in the ranch lands & found about a 7 or 8 mo. old pooch living in a hole he had dug out of a cane field. Brought him home, had him fixed & he has become a favorite member of our family. A great dog. He learned to be cool in the house after one mistake. My wife , who didn't want a dog, just loves him. Buys him all kinds of toys,n treats, & takes him everywhere.He follows her around like she's the Queen.
He's mostly pit, with maybe a little ridgeback in him also.
I always had Dobies, but he couldn't have had a better disposition for our kids
