It all takes times and yes there is a time line that any company that is involved in CTL will have to adhere to...

I don't work for the company but my guess is that if Dave Malland is talking about a CTL plant then the site to build the plant has been chosen and someday they will have to announce the land purchase /lease or some thing like that...they also talked about feedstock agreements for the coal etc..!!!

Then they need money to get a bank package ready ...this is perhaps a 3-5 million dollar deal that would allow them to have the Shaw and Westinghouse group in their pockets...and have all the engineering done...

Once that is completed ....that viable package can go to a group of investor or state or federal government and then they would be able to raise serious capital...

Now all of this sounds very preposterous.... and quite frankly for a OTCB company quite out of reach...but and that is the big BUT...can they reach the first few steps....

They have to learn to crawl ..then walk and perhaps run in the future....

A bunch of things can go wrong and thus this makes it a very highly speculative play....but greater the risk, greater the reward motto is very real here...

Doc2 has outlined all of this in his previous postings very well....but it is the first few steps that are very important here and that would get the necessary attention, when the time comes...

Meanwhile me and you and the nay sayers and others will continue to debate the viability and future prospects of this company...

My big question is about the spin off regarding FFI if that is to happen at some point...What would the business plan for the parent company NSOL be?..since we are all shareholders of NSOL...what will happen to our NSOL shares once a spin off or spin around or conversion or share dilution or any other metamorphosis do to our holdings??

Meanwhile a strong rebuttal and scoffing from MLM, Moment, Ride and others continue to cast a dark shadow over this nascent seedling...

PS...I would also tell you to perhaps get a complete set of news PRs and other SEC filings etc from the last two-three years and put them on a time line on a wall and see if you can see a clear path...(perhaps a turtle crossing!) .. In my opinion and my DD...they seem to be marching and forging ahead at a snail's pace...but still crawling to some extent and not dead yet!!

If they can reach the first goal and then the second goal, perhaps their odds will become better and the speed of their execution shift from first gear to the next!

Regarding the correct and often repeated mantra of our esteemed colleagues...past is not always a true projection of the future...sometimes we make progress also...that is itself a rule of nature...

Before I forget...for a seed to become a giant tree/plant...the right atmosphere has to be there...here in KY...the Governor has himself talked about the need for CTL development...the country needs a new industry and jobs are crucial (just hear Obama rile about that!) and the energy hunger is only getting stronger...and many others are jumping into this field...!! hence the KY government's help will be crucial in this endeavor..
