"THEY RULE"

business is your word, and respect.

Absolutely. And next to that is your network of connections. Arguably more important than the product itself.

For example, did you know that GM is only 2 steps away from Ford? Or that Coke and Pepsi are connected?

There is a great little web app that illustrates beautifully how big business is run by multi-tasking directors that sit on many boards.

It's called "THEY RULE" and can be found at:
http://theyrule.orgo.org/theyrule.html

It's based on a book by C. Wright Mills called "The Power Elite", written in '56. You can find excerpts at:
http://www.thirdworldtraveler.com/Book_Excerpts/PowerElite.html
Check out: "The Chief Executives."

I mention this because I firmly believe that the success or failure of EDIG is going to be based primarily on how well JC and crew manages to integrate themselves into the established power network of the broadcasting & music industry. Secure preloaded content via PJBs, DP with/for a Universal player - Composition Players... from artist and speciality markets.

The above web app I mentioned illustrates this beautifully, and may change your thinking about the reality of how American business and politics is run. Fascinating and sometimes scarry.

A great example is the Bill Gates chart.

Many people are perplexed that Microsoft dominates over Apple. His chart shows why.
It ain't because of computers.
While Jobs was creating "insanely great" computers, Gates was getting his directors network onto the boards of Fortune 100 companies.

Remember, it's a program that you can play with, not just static charts. Move stuff around. Build your own connections. See who's connected to who. Start with "LOAD MAP".

Fun!

And important stuff for investors to know.

emit... grabbed this off another board...
