Did you know that Symbol offered to buy NeoMedia's valuable patent portfolio in 2002 for $150 Million? The offer was declined however in favor of further developing the IP and growing the patent portfolio as a core component of NeoMedia's long-term growth and market strategy.
Now that one of the core patents has been validated and strengthened by the USPTO, and all the major standards bodies have adopted NeoMedia's patented indirect methodology, I am looking at a much higher sale price. My money is on Microsoft or Nokia.
