Wow, what a mess !

If 2 million Iranian troops invade southern Iraq, 100,000
American troops and 1000 smart bombs ain't gonna' stop 'em. Then Iran holds US prisoners once again plus half the oil of Iraq. They would be free to exchange our puppet Iraqi government for theirs. If the US counterattacks with nukes then the price of oil goes to $200 and stays there forever.
The US and the world economy drop into depression. The game ain't poker, it chess, and we don't exactly have a Grandmaster at the helm.

Whose idea was it to start a mideast war, anyway ?
