Also, you never have been able to successfully defend the FACT that AMNE announced a preferred dividend in the past that was never paid.

A Forward Split is not a dividend.

A stock dividend is a dividend, but that it not the same as a forward split.

If they issued a 5 for 1 stock dividend, holders would get 5 shares for every 1 share they hold BUT the price of the shares would not be divided by 5. The holders would simply get the shares and the share price would stay the same. Giving people 5 for 1 and then dividing the price by 5 is a wash and a joke.

Don't tell me the song and dance about the shares not being restricted so holders can sell or hold them, because they could have made the preffered shares that were never issued free-trading.
