southacres: EDAC (2.85) acquisition certainly seems to have come at a bargain price given that huge backlog. However they do mention that some of it represents orders that are spread out over 5 years. We'll know more once they file an 8K with pro-forma financials. At this point we can only guess as to how accretive this acquisition will be.

EDAC has reported a string of disappointing quarters, unlike SIF and LMIA, which have continued to do well despite the economy. Hopefully this acquisition will significantly boost their bottom line.
