Let's say you have identified a few stocks that perform just as your 10-8-5-4 number series. Some are going to be successful and will therefore break through the $10 figure, never to fall back below that level. Some are going to be losers, not only falling below $4, but never to rise to that level again. What happens, is that your portfolio fills up with the losers, and is totally lacking the winners.
