Mr. Dennis may have had the better strategy, just getting the message out and selling a single pop software downloads to retail. But, I'm not sure if he really is an authorized reseller of Spooz.
Let's see: 1000 customers at $1000 a pop, non refundable one time only purchase software is $1,000,000.00. But, being an authorized reseller, only a portion of whatever he gets goes in his pocket, the rest goes to?
Did you check the Genesis websites out?
I know these guys keep trying to sell their institutional grade software to the bigger houses, but they are missing the retail segmentation of the software product, even if they are selling it at what might be considered give away prices. Just look at Apple and their battle with the IBM PC. IBM no longer has the PC or laptop as they sold this business off to Lenovo. Apple still going strong, because they stuck their PC's in front of kids in the classroom, who got hooked on them.
