"The residential AMR market has huge potential with over 148 million meters in China. As of 2009 the Chinese government plans to spend 10 billion US Dollars to setup the network and install 148 million AMR units in the coming 3 years. Currently, the State Grid has no good solution for communications. Originally we planed to use PLC but PLC has been determined to be unsuitable.

The NCEPU has been looking for the right solution for several years and ConectiSys showed us some light in this area.
