You are wrong in your assumption that Bill Smith has no connection to XPGH. He may not be an officer or employee at this time, but he is a major shareholder. My guess is that Parsons will need to follow Bill's directions somewhat, otherwise he will be removed as the chairman, etc.

I think getting Bill off the officer's list was just a a ploy to remove all the garbage that was attached to him. The company would never receive any funding with him at the helm.
