funny thing is, Google chose QR codes! they didn't choose the disaster project called zxing lol zxing was supposed to be the new "QR code" that google dominated the world with lol But when it came to the Google developers conference they chose to go with a tried and true method which is used all over the world, the QR code. Now the question is, what reader are they using? Google certainly does not have a very good barcode reader of their own, at least not one that has been tried and tested IMO.
