May 28, 2009 09:01:02 (ET)

TORONTO, May 28, 2009 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Diamant Art Corporation (DIAAF, Trade ) is pleased to announce that through its wholly owned subsidiary, DIAMANT FILM INC., the Company has supplied and delivered over 4.9 million feet of food wrap in April. Additionally, Diamant has received subsequent orders totaling over 2 million feet in Early May and were shipped last week.

Diamant intends to keep the Shareholders fully informed as these developments continue to evolve, and prospective clients turn into deliverable purchase orders. The Company continues to work on a number of projects that are under confidentiality agreement.

Subsequent to the Company recently taking a proactive approach to generating interest and the marketing of its own products, Diamant has been contacted by a number of Companies regarding the representation of its products. This growth in exposure appears to be gaining momentum since the Company's recent official notification that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency has granted Non-Objection status in its food cling film products.

Diamant Art Corporation (DIAAF), through its wholly owned subsidiary Diamant Film Inc. ( www.diamantfilm.com ), is the world's first plasticizer-free and the first food wrap film that is environmentally friendly and recyclable. Diamant(TM) Film has recently received the ECO logo certified by the Environmental Choice(TM) Program. The Environmental Choice(TM) Program is North America's leading benchmark of environmentally responsible products and services and Bio-Plastics Film Inc. another Diamant Art Corporation's wholly owned subsidiary the Bio-Product branch distribute Totally Degradable Plastic Additive. Unlike other plastic, once biodegrading is complete, all that remains is carbon dioxide, water and biomass, all of which are part of the normal bio-cycle.
