This happens everytime funding has been in doubt. I have seen it at least three times since 2003. Speculation, worry, doubting their investment. The long term posters do not participate in the back and forth. I have found their comments to be generally positive, encouraging, and helpfull.

I expect additional financing to be announced when NEOM believes it needs to be announced. They have not signed on to all of these partnerships to go under at the end of May.
