re: <tests showing Athlon 64 systems using 64 to 96 watts less power than Prescott>

Where does it list the testing methodology, the equipment used for the test, and the hardware listed for the system?

(both NVidia GEForce 6800GT, 1G Corsair PC3200 or Micron DDR2-533, identical SATA drives, MSI NForce3 250Gb chipset or Intel 925X chipset motherboard). They didn't specifically mention the power supply used, but I can't believe they weren't identical. There's no mystery in measuring power, you plug the power cord into a digital wattmeter, which plugs into the wall.

Well, DDR2 is supposed to save power, maybe it doesn't.

Hey, the 3800+ beats the Nocona 3.6 in about 3/4 of the benchmarks, as it should, but doing that using 64 to 96 watts less power is a big advantage IMO.
