Penny Pumps:

Having met Matt and talked to him specifically about his own investments, I find it hard to imagine he is guilty of a pump and dump scheme - unless the implication is that his ownership (at the time) of IHub is the reason. Of course, if that were true then BobZ would have been implicated too. So, I have no idea.

Having said that and wishing the best for Matt, I think it is friggin' about time the SEC started looking at penny pumps. They have been going on forever with virtually no risk of prosecution.

I think it is one of the things that has kept VMC above the fray. We always discouraged that kind of activity (one liner pumps), instead requiring DD.
