Hate to disagree with you but the EX date is June 1st. Just think about what price you would pay Fri afternoon, the 29th. You are buying pre-split & Mon. June 1st at 1/5th the Fri. close. On div paying stocks the div is reduced on the stock price on the ex date. This is a split, but I don't see it any other way.
