No problem...just to expand on the point. The value chain of big oil involves such activities as: exploration, extraction, exportation, importation, and refinement of oil to gas (a different process than gasification of coal). The upstream activities for CTL development are far different..access to coal, logistics, etc would require different challenges.

Once refining is done, some downstream activities would be similar. However, in each case, the residual products that might be developed would be different; as would the investment/cost equation.
